This is what I don't understand about Hank Williams, Jr.

How can someone who has constantly been in the lime-light touch the soul of the "blue-collar" working man in America. Granted, he has had hard times, but he can still relate to those who have had even harder times. He seems to truly be One of Us.

I think the answer to this is, because he is an outlaw, in a true sense of the word. Outlaws don't live a high palutin kind of life. He likes the same things everybody else likes. You know, like good friend, good whiskey, and good lovin'. He knows who he is and he's perfectly comfortable with it. He also knows what a REAL good time is. He's as real as real gets. :cheers:

Well, if folks get to the point where they don't realize everyone puts their pants one one leg at a time, like a lot of the Hollywierd folks I can think of, they lose touch with reality. Just 'cos you ain't broke don't mean you GOTTA lose all yer common sense. altho' lots of folks who have money ARE real stupid and miserable. :lol:
